Depending on the material of the tower, you may not be able to use this wiper. Use warm water instead, if this is the case and use a cotton swab to clean the air vents and fan.

Blow the dust off computer fan using compressed air. Blow dust from the back of the fan and out of the computer. Try to avoid blowing dust on the motherboard. Dampen a cloth with glass cleaner and clean the toughest dirt left on the fan blades.

Remove the dust that might be stuck in corners or components of the tower. Use small air jets and always try to aim to blow the dust away from the computer. Do it all in a more open place. Do not use a vacuum cleaner hose to clean a computer, as it can create an electrical charge that can explode or burn sensitive components.

Put the lid back on and turn the computer tower. Let it run for a few minutes to make sure everything is working properly. If the fans start making noise, turn the computer off, remove the cover and then clean them. When you are satisfied that your computer is working properly tighten the cap back in place.
