Google announced on its official online Arabic relaunch service “Speak2Tweet” of the Syrian revolution activists to bring their voice to the outside by sending audio to specific numbers, the service published a Tweet in Twitter account.
Google said, it worked for less than two years ago, when the Internet was cut in Egypt, with Twitter to launch “Speak2Tweet” to enable anyone to Tweet sent by using voice communication.
The move comes after the two companies confirmed to monitor the Internet based in the United States that the Syrian Government had to suspend Internet service across the country last Thursday, Syria still has become isolated from the outside world. And activists in Syria they communicate online through Thuraya (satellite) unprecedented interruption of the Internet, landlines and mobile phones.
So Google has urged the activists to call the use of “Speak2Tweet” and leave an audio recording to one of international numbers, the voice will be Twitter via Twitter.
