Lebanon: Israel pushes things toward a confrontation in the region
Foreign Minister in the caretaker Government, Lebanese Adnan Mansor on Tuesday that Israel is to pay showdown in the region and that any explosion which would have repercussions on Lebanon.
Said Mansour, told the radio that “Israel is pushing the region towards confrontation, but international communications and redress afflictions have things.”
“Any explosion in the region will have repercussions on the Lebanese arena.”
Mansoraloda described as “quiet now”, “waiting for the next few days.”
Mansour said that there are “extraordinary intensive sorties on Lebanon by the Israeli aggression against Syria, the indicators associated with the statements and manoeuvres on the borders of Lebanon.”
He noted that “Lebanon cannot stand silent on Israel’s attacks, which represent a flagrant violation of resolution 1701, was Lebanon’s complaint to the Security Council.”
