Iran plans to start oil and gas exploration the Rocky

Exploration Manager said the National Iranian oil company old age klaond Wednesday that Tehran plans to start oil and gas exploration the Rocky during the current Iranian year, near the border with Iraq.
Klaond said to Fars news, the first oil and gas drilling in the Rocky Western Zagros area by March 2014, the Iranian official said that the company’s exploration activities are focused on the border areas, and it’s already found 15 new layer of oil and gas last year.
Iranian oil officials have said last summer that the efforts of discovering reserves of non-conventional hydrocarbons in the country led to the discovery of some rock oil reservoirs in Western areas of the country, especially to the Gali district skylight.
The remarks came in the context of the so-called Revolution rock energy resources or non-traditional energy resources, which transformed the United States from the largest importer in the world to a potential source of gas, Saudi Arabia-the largest oil exporter in the world-exploration of shale gas reserves.
Rock energy projects are more expensive than traditional projects, but it can be tempting for countries that currently rely on imported fuel.
