DIY – homemade stove with hydrogen

The company HHOHHU has developed a unique home heating system, which uses water as a fuel. The device uses 450W electricity via electrolysis of water molecule splits oxygen and hydrogen, which burns heats an area of over 90 square miles.

For the moment the heating body is not a product on the market, but that doesn’t make it completely unavailable. From the company have chosen to spread the Know How-uto under the half-open source model by selling plans for construction, not the finished product. They also sell some of the more geeky parts which are difficult to obtain or manufacture. In this way, anyone with a desire and above average technical knowledge you can build it yourself, with conventional and readily available materials. The parts cost about $ 600 (in United States) and the entire investment is paid only for a few months.

The heart of the device is a cell in which the electrolysis. It produces over 2 l. gas/min. upon consumption of 12V, 12.5 amps. Another key element is the toplootvoda, which consists of several copper pipes (pictured above), who lead the heat of the hydrogen flame. According to data from the HHOHHU the device is completely reliable, because the hydrogen is burned at the time of its manufacture, thus not avoiding the need for storage. For the moment, have sold hundreds of plans like a few people have successfully built the device. However, this project is hardly a novice.
