How air conditioners work

Air conditioners have become essential in most homes , because of the nature of the weather and the warm atmosphere that pass on the planet , and the working air conditioners in the summer to cool the house , also publishes the warmth and heat around the house in winter.

Air conditioning cools the air in your home rather quickly. For economical operation , and operation of the unit only when someone is at home. Install a programmable thermostat that lets you set the time to run the air conditioning, and 30 minutes before arriving at your home or on a hot day . Keep your curtains or blinds on the windows facing east , south and west are closed during the day . This will help reduce the amount of solar heat that enters your home .

How air conditioners work

Air conditioners use the same basic principles of operation and the same basic components of a refrigerator. An air conditioner cools your home with a cold indoor coil called the evaporator. Condenser , coil outdoor heated , the heat released to the out of focus. The evaporator and condenser coils are coiled tubes or coil coated aluminum fins. Usually made of copper tubes . A pump , known as the compressor remains in the liquid heat transfer movement , known as the refrigerant between the evaporator and the condenser. Cause the pump to pass through the cooling circuit pipes and fins on the coils . Coolant evaporates inside the evaporator coil , and remove heat from indoor air , thereby cooling the house . And the expulsion of hot refrigerant gas outside through the condenser , where it is converted back to liquid , releasing heat in the air flowing through metal pipes and condenser fins .

Different types of air conditioners

Basic types of air conditioners are: room air conditioners , split type air conditioners central system and system packaged central air conditioners .
Room air conditioners

Room air conditioners cool rather than the entire house cool. If cooled only when necessary , and operating room air conditioners is less expensive than central units , even though their efficiency is generally lower than that of central air conditioners .

Can be connected to air conditioners for small rooms ( those that use less than 7.5 amps of electricity ) to the Department of Housing 15 or 20 amps and 115 volts , where nothing to do with the other principal organs . Air conditioners for large rooms ( those that use more than 7.5 mA ) require 115 – volt dedicated circuit . Larger models require 230 volt circuits .
Central air conditioning system

Air conditioners cool air through the central supply system and back channels . Records and supply channels ( holes in walls , floors or ceilings covered by grills ) carry cold air from the air conditioner housing . This air is heated refrigerated because it revolves around the house and then flows back to the central air conditioner through back channels and records . Central air conditioning unit is either split or contracting system .

How air conditioners work

In an air split type central air system , condenser and compressor within the outer metal cabinet and evaporator within the Council of Ministers of the Interior. In many air conditioners split-type , and this government has also indoor furnace or boiler or in a heat pump . Is installed evaporator coil of the air conditioner in the Council of Ministers or the main supply channel from the heater or heat pump . If your home has already heating but no air conditioning, and devices are split system central air conditioner is cheaper to install.

In the compressed air conditioner central system , located evaporator , condenser and compressor in the box , which is usually placed on the surface or on the surface of the concrete near the foundation of the house . It uses this type of air conditioner small commercial buildings . Air supply and return channels are from inside the house through an outside wall or the roof of the house to connect to packaged air conditioner , which is usually located outdoors. Often include compressed air conditioners or electric resistance heating boiler natural gas . This combination of air conditioning and central heating eliminates the need for heating in indoor.
