The main stages of work during room repair

Starting a major overhaul in one of the rooms of the apartment to avoid unnecessary problems and do everything qualitatively, you need to properly distribute the stages of work. First of all the roughing is done and then the finishing.

The draft finishes include the following types of work. Dismantling, replacement of windows, replacement of doors, screed, leveling of walls, leveling of ceilings. New wiring and new batteries also refer to roughing finish.

First of all it is necessary to remove all old coverings from walls and ceilings. Badly poorly on walls plaster it is necessary to knock down. To determine where the plaster is behind the surface, you can just catch a cold. In the places of lag there will be a deaf sound. Then you need to align the floor.

If the old floor is wooden, it should be dismantled. Beacons are installed under the new screed. Beacons are easier for installation on plaster plaster. Before installation of beacons the surface is primed. After installation of beacons the boxes under sockets and switches are made. When beacons are frozen, it is possible to equalize walls with a plaster solution. If the layer of applied plaster will exceed three centimeters, it will be necessary to strengthen reinforcing grid.

For further finishing the plaster should dry completely. While the walls are dry, you can do the ceiling. The ceiling can be leveled plaster or plaster cardboard. Once the walls and ceiling are ready for finishing, you need to change the window. After the new window is installed, the slope is made.

Then the surface of walls and a ceiling should be primed. Before you start walls, if necessary on a floor the level is poured. If between walls and a ceiling there is no plinth, it is necessary to paste a web, it will prevent occurrence of cracks. The ceiling is best all glued spiderweb.

The first layer is twine with a starting. For the finishing layer it is best to use the finishing, acrylic putty. Also, if the slope of plaster, it also twine. When the putty is completely dry, the surfaces are cleaned with fine sandpaper. During stripping, the room must be well lit. After stripping the surface is primed.

When all the surfaces are dry and the room is cleaned of dirt, you can proceed to finishing. First of all the ceiling is painted. If walls under painting, they too paint together with a ceiling in the first place. Then there is a floor covering. If on walls there will be a wall-paper, they are glued after installation of a floor covering. The plinth is fastened. The door is put. At the end there are sockets and switches, the battery hangs.
